Where we are not the right answer

Ten employees or fewer, one location: Homebase’s free tier genuinely costs nothing and does basic time tracking. If that is all you need, use it — we are not going to pretend otherwise.

You need payroll, hiring and HR paperwork: Homebase and Deputy bundle those. We do not process payroll. We clock people in, schedule the week, and put hours against jobs and machines.

Twenty or more on the floor, one shop: this is the case we built for, and the one where the annual difference gets large enough to notice.

Put the whole floor on one clock.
